ليست الحياة دائمًا سهلة . على طول طريقك في هذه الرحلة، ستتعثر أحيانًا، وربما تسقط. لكن الحقيقة هي أن السقوط لا يعني الفشل؛ بل يعني ببساطة أنك إنسان.

في تلك اللحظات الصعبة، واصل السير. تمسّك بما تعرف أنه صواب. استمر في أداء ما دُعيت لفعله، حتى عندما يبدو أن النتائج بعيدة أو غير مضمونة. والأهم من ذلك، ثق بالله واترك النتائج بين يديه.

قد تبدو الرحلة مرهقة في بعض الأحيان، لكن تذكّر هذا الوعد القوي من الكتاب المقدّس:“لَا أُهْمِلُكَ وَلَا أَتْرُكُكَ.” عبرانيين ١٣: ٥

أنت لست وحدك. الله معك دائمًا. عندما تسقط، سيرفعك. وعندما تضعف، سيقويك. هو أمين في وعده، ومحبّ بلا حدود.

لذا، لا تستسلم. ثق في صلاحه. وآمن بمحّبته. وامضِ قُدمًا بثقة، عالِمًا أن من يمسك بمستقبلك يسير بجانبك في كل خطوة تخطوها.

The Book of Proverbs: Your Guide to Purpose and Faith

The Book of Proverbs is like a hidden treasure chest. It is full of wisdom that speaks to every heart. It addresses both young and old, man or woman. Its very name, derived from the Hebrew word “mishle” (rooted in “mashal”), evokes vivid imagery of witty sayings that bridge the everyday moments of life with profound spiritual truths. These aren’t just words; they’re pearls of insight, crafted to spark reflection and transform how we see the world.

Proverbs is a gift to anyone craving guidance in a chaotic world. It offers divine wisdom, God’s blueprint for living a life of purpose, faith, and impact. Whether you’re navigating big decisions or simply seeking to live with intention, Proverbs is your compass. It guides you toward a life aligned with God’s heart.

The Gospel of the Kingdom

We all struggle with sin; we fall short of G-d’s standard, and we feel that distance in our hearts. Yet, even in our brokenness, G-d loves us deeply. Because He is Holy (Kadosh) and perfectly just, He created a plan to bring us back to Him. In His wisdom, Hashem chose Abraham and the nation of Israel to carry His truth to the world. Their mission was to be a “light to the nations” and show everyone His ways.

However, Israel—like all of humanity—struggled to maintain the standard of G-d’s holiness. The world needed a Redeemer, a Go’el. This Redeemer would bridge the gap between the holiness of G-d and our human frailty. Out of His great love, Hashem sent Yeshua, the promised Mashiach, to walk among us. He came as the Living Torah to teach us His ways and to show us the heart of the Father.

Ultimately, Yeshua laid down His life as the perfect Kapparah (atonement) for our sins. The Mashiach’s sacrifice was not merely an act of love. It was the fulfillment of G-d’s eternal plan. This plan was to reconcile us to Himself. Through His work, those from the nations are “grafted in” to the olive tree of Israel, allowing all who believe to be part of the family of G-d and enter into a deep, personal relationship with Him.

Through Yeshua, we are given the gift of redemption. We are saved from the judgment that sin brings through sincere Teshuva (repentance)—turning away from our own ways and placing our trusting faith in Him and His promises.

This is the heart of the true gospel the( Besora)—the message of the Kingdom. Through faith in the Mashiach, we are forgiven. We are also invited to walk in the covenants of Hashem. We become part of His eternal family forever.

لسنوات طويلة، كانت الرواية حول دولة إسرائيل مشوشة بتعقيدات سياسية ومنظورات منحازة. لكن بالنسبة للمسيحيين، ارتباطنا بهذه الأرض وشعبها أعمق بكثير من مجرد العناوين الإخبارية المؤقتة. إنه جزء من نسيج إيماننا، يتردد صداه عبر التاريخ، ويُفرض علينا بقوة ضميرنا الأخلاقي، كما أنه ذو أهمية استراتيجية في عالم مضطرب. وفي قلب هذه العلاقة تكمن مسألة جوهرية عن شخصية الله وصدق وعوده. لقد حان الوقت لكي يقف كل مسيحي إلى جانب إسرائيل، لأن نزاهة اختيارنا نحن كمؤمنين امناء تتوقف على ذلك.

الوعود التي لا تنكسر ومسألة الاختيار
إيماننا متجذر في وعود الله لإبراهيم، ذلك العهد الأبدي الذي يمتد لنسله وللأرض التي وعد بها (تكوين ١٢: ١-٣، ١٧: ٧-٨). الادعاء بأن الله، بعد أن اختار إسرائيل كشعبه المنتخب ومنحهم وعدًا أبدياً، قد تخلى عنهم الآن، هو تفكيك لأساس ثقتنا به. إذا كان اختيار إسرائيل، وهو حجر الأساس في الرواية الكتابية، يمكن إبطاله، فما الضمان الذي يتمتع به المسيحيون من الأمم فيما يتعلق باختيارهم من خلال المسيح؟ إذا كانت وعود الله لإسرائيل مشروطة ويمكن التراجع عنها، فكيف يمكننا نحن، الذين طُعّمنا في عائلة الله بالإيمان (رومية ١١: ١٧-٢٤)، أن نكون واثقين من أن وعوده لنا ثابتة؟
لقد واجه الرسول بولس هذا السؤال في رسالته إلى أهل رومية، مؤكدًا بوضوح: “لم يرفض الله شعبه الذي سبق فعرفه” (رومية ١١: ٢). حيث استخدم تشبيه شجرة الزيتون ليُظهر كيف أن المؤمنين من الأمم هم أغصان طُعّمت في الجذر القائم لإسرائيل. فإذا كان الجذر نفسه غير جدير بالوعد الأبدي لله، فكيف تكون الأغصان المطعمة ثابتة؟ إن إنكار الأهمية المستمرة لإسرائيل في خطة الله هو تقويض لمفهوم أمانة الله وعدم تغير كلمته. إعلان الله القوي في تكوين ١٢: ٣ – “وأبارك مباركيك وألعن لاعنيك” – ليس مجرد اقتراح، بل هو مبدأ إلهي يحمل آثارًا عميقة على كيفية تعاملنا مع إسرائيل، وهو مرتبط مباشرة بالبركات التي نأمل في الحصول عليها من خلال عهدنا مع الله.

واجب أخلاقي متجذر في التوبة
للأسف، لا يدرك الكثير من المسيحيين أن تاريخ التعامل المسيحي مع الشعب اليهودي مُلطخ بالمآسي والاضطهاد، من فظائع العصور الوسطى إلى الجرائم التي لا توصف خلال الهولوكوست. لا يمكننا أن نقف مكتوفي الأيدي بينما يواجه أحفاد الذين عانوا من تلك الويلات تهديدات مستمرة لوجودهم. دعم إسرائيل ليس مجرد موقف سياسي؛ إنه واجب أخلاقي، وفرصة لتصحيح أخطاء الماضي، والإعلان بوضوح: “لن يحدث ذلك مجددًا.” إن قيام إسرائيل كان بمثابة ملاذ بعد معاناة لا يمكن تصورها، ودعمنا الراسخ هو تعبير عن التزامنا بأمنهم وسلامتهم، وتجسيد ملموس للتوبة عن الظلام الذي كان يميز علاقتنا بهم. وبالنسبة للأقليات المسيحية – مثلي – تمثل إسرائيل أمانة الله وأملًا في خلاصنا من الخطيئة والاضطهاد. لذلك، أنا أدعم دولة إسرائيل بدون تردد.

برّ الله في موقفنااا
من الناحية الأخلاقية، فإن قضية دعم المسيحيين لإسرائيل لا تقبل الجدل. فالشعب اليهودي، مثل أي أمة أخرى، يمتلك الحق الأصيل في تقرير مصيره في وطنه التاريخي. وبينما ندرك التعقيدات والحاجة إلى العدالة لجميع الشعوب في المنطقة، يجب ألا نفقد رؤية هذا الحق الأساسي. قيمنا المشتركة – الالتزام بالعدالة والرحمة وسيادة القانون – تربطنا معًا. إن قصة إسرائيل هي قصة نجاح وأمل لجميع الأقليات المضطهدة في الشرق الأوسط، وخاصة المسيحيين. هذه القصة ينبغي أن تلهم الأقباط وغيرهم من المسيحيين المضطهدين للسعي نحو البرّ والعدالة. إلهنا هو إله العدل، وموقفنا تجاه إسرائيل يجب أن يعكس هذا البرّ الذي لا يتزعزع.

Why Every Christian Should Stand with Israel: Trusting God’s Unwavering Promises

Introduction:

For too long, the narrative surrounding Israel has been clouded by political complexities and often biased perspectives. But for Christians, our connection to this land and its people runs far deeper than short-lived headlines. It is woven into the fabric of our faith. It is echoed through history. It is demanded by our ethical core. It is strategically vital in a turbulent world. And at its heart lies a fundamental question of God’s character and the trustworthiness of His promises. It’s time for every Christian to stand with Israel, for the very integrity of our own election hinges upon it.

The Unbreakable Promises and the Question of Election

Our faith is rooted in God’s promises to Abraham, an everlasting covenant extending to his descendants and the land He promised them (Genesis 12:1-3, 17:7-8). To suggest that God, having chosen Israel as His elect and bestowed upon them an eternal promise, has now abandoned them is to undermine our trust in Him. It questions the very foundation of our faith. If the election of Israel, a cornerstone of the Old Testament narrative, can be nullified, what assurance do Gentile Christians have regarding their own election through Christ? If God’s promises to Israel are conditional and ultimately revocable, how can we, grafted into the family of God through faith (Romans 11:17-24), be certain that His promises to us are secure?

The Apostle Paul grappled with this question in Romans. He emphatically stated that “God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew” (Romans 11:2). He uses the analogy of the olive tree to illustrate how Gentile believers are branches grafted into the existing root of Israel. If the root is deemed unworthy of God’s enduring promise, what stability do the grafted branches possess? To deny Israel’s enduring significance in God’s plan is to undermine the very concept of God’s faithfulness and the irrevocability of His word. The powerful declaration in Genesis 12:3 – “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse” – isn’t a suggestion; it’s a divine principle with profound implications for how we engage with Israel, directly linked to the blessings we ourselves hope to receive through our covenant with God.

 A Moral Imperative Rooted in Repentance

Sadly, many Christians are not aware of a tragic history. Christian interaction with the Jewish people is stained with persecution. From the horrors of the Middle Ages to the unspeakable atrocities of the Holocaust. We cannot stand idly by while the descendants of those who suffered so grievously face continued threats to their existence. Supporting Israel is not just a political stance. It’s a moral obligation. It’s a chance to fix the mistakes of the past and declare unequivocally: “Never again.” The establishment of Israel offered a sanctuary after unimaginable suffering, and our unwavering support is a testament to our commitment to their safety and security, a tangible expression of repentance for the darkness that once defined our relationship. For Christian minorities, such as myself, Israel signifies God’s faithfulness. It provides hope for our redemption from both sin and persecution. Therefore, I unequivocally support the state of Israel.

 Reflecting God’s Righteousness

Ethically, the case for Christian support of Israel is undeniable. The Jewish people, like any nation, possess the inherent right to self-determination in their historical homeland. While acknowledging the complexities and the need for justice for all peoples in the region, we must not lose sight of this fundamental right. Our shared values – a commitment to justice, compassion, and the rule of law – bind us together. Israel is a story of success and hope for all oppressed minorities in the Middle East, especially Christians. This story should inspire Copts and other persecuted Christians to pursue righteousness and justice.  Our God is a God of justice, and our stance on Israel must reflect that unwavering righteousness.

 Standing for Stability and Truth

Politically, supporting Israel is not just the right thing to do; it’s the smart thing to do. In a volatile Middle East, Israel remains a steadfast and reliable ally for Western democracies, sharing crucial intelligence and security interests in the fight against radical extremism. They stand on the front lines against forces that threaten not only Israel but also the values we hold dear. Moreover, it is the only state in the Middle East where the Christian population is growing. To undermine Israel is to weaken a vital partner and embolden those who seek to destabilize the region and threaten global peace. Their resilience in the face of hostile neighbors demands our unwavering solidarity, a pragmatic recognition of their strategic importance in a world yearning for stability.

The time for passive observation is over. As Christians from all backgrounds, we are called to action, to stand boldly and unequivocally with Israel. Our faith demands it, history compels it, our ethics necessitate it, and our strategic interests align with it. But above all, the very trustworthiness of God’s promises to us as Gentile believers hinges on our recognition of His enduring covenant with Israel. If He could abandon His chosen people and His everlasting promise, what security do we have in our own election? Let our voices be clear and our support unwavering. Stand with Israel, for in doing so, we affirm the unchanging character of God and the steadfastness of His Word. Stand with Israel, because it is the right thing to do.

A Foundation of a Civilized Society

As Proverbs 29:4 suggests, a stable and righteous society is built on fair governance. This foundation highlights the need for wisdom in leadership. Wisdom is indeed essential for societal well-being. True wisdom, at its core, necessitates the cultivation of justice and objectivity. It actively rejects the biases of favoritism and the divisive impulses of tribalism. This biblical wisdom serves as a critical demarcation line. It distinguishes a civilized nation from a barbaric one. A civilized nation where fairness and impartiality prevail verses a barbaric one where self-interest and loyalties dominate.

Tough Week

This week has been incredibly difficult, one of the most challenging I’ve faced in years. Only a few weeks from 2020 and 2021 come close in intensity. There was the initial chaos of the COVID pandemic. There was also the uncertainty following my resignation from my job without knowing what comes next. This week brings a similar sense of the unknown. I’m grappling with anxieties about an upcoming challenge that threatens my family again. Nonetheless, I hold onto the faith that He who carried me through past storms will sustain me once again. Despite my own weaknesses, I trust in His power and goodness. Most of all, I pray my children will never have to endure the hardships I’ve experienced.

The Miraculous Life of Messiah: Power in Human Limitations

When the the Son of man incarnated, He took on a human nature. By embracing the limitations of humanity, He voluntary chose to yield His own will to the will of the Father. As a result, He performed many of His miracles relying on the power of the Spirit & the Father (Matt 12:28; John 11:41). This also explains why He experienced human growth and weakness like us (Luke 2:52). Messiah Yeshua is fully human like you and me. Therefore, He is capable of understanding our sufferings. He can also sustain us through our trials.
